NO Parking on the Bucktown 5K Course

Description
There will be no parking on all streets of the Bucktown 5K course starting Sunday morning, October 4th at 4am, until 2pm. Shuttle service available for alternate parking for residents on the course starting Saturday afternoon at 5pm.

Description
Join 32nd Ward Alderman Scott Waguespack and the Churchill Park Advisory Council in launching renovations to the Churchill Dog Park to establish the first Green dog park in Chicago.
The Kick Off includes:
• Unveiling of the Revitalized park rendering
• Whitewashing of the South Wall in preparation for new murals with paint donated by Colori, an eco-friendly store Rethinking traditional paint
• Collection of leftover paint to be Reused for mural work
• Installation of “Found Art Sculpture” by Andrew De La Rosa from Gallery B1E

First WPB Bustracker Screen Installed @ Red Hen

Two more installations at local businesses are confirmed for tomorrow, with a few more to come by the end of the week. See the photos of this exciting new program in action.
Bike Light Give-Away
posted on : Tuesday, September 8th, 2009Friday night’s bike light give-away at the Polish Triangle was a great success. WPB gave away close to 200 bright bike headlights with the help of the 1st Ward Office, Mayor Daley’s Bicycling Ambassadors, and the 14th District Police. See the pictures here.
