Clean, Green and Safe

Clean, Green and Safe meets the first Wednesday of the month at Janik’s Cafe, 2011 W. Division, 9 a.m.

The committee is tasked with 3 recommendations from the Master Plan:

• Spruce up the place to improve cleanliness and appearance of WPB’s streetscapes without sterilizing them.
• Keep an Eye on Things to increase public safety along WPB’s corridors.
• Greenify to become a more environmentally sound and ecologically sensitive community not only in ideas and ideals but in practice and on the ground.

WPB works with Christy Webber Landscapes and Bartlett Tree Experts to maintain the landscaping and the trees in the Special Service Area.  However, all the trees in our neighborhood are important.  For some information on proper mulching techniques, please click here.
