WPB Facade Rebate Program — Apply Now!

before-and-after-facadeThe WPB Facade Rebate Program allows for owners and tenants of street level commercial or retail property located within WPB’s boundaries, to apply for a rebate of up to 50% on approved facade improvement costs. This pilot program is intended to provide funds to help building and business owners improve the overall physical appearance of the exterior of their buildings and businesses in the WPB Special Service Area. By improving individual storefronts, the program will help to revitalize and beautify the entire WPB commercial district, enhance the pedestrian-scale streetscape and ensure that exceptional design solutions are introduced within the area, while preserving the unique character and qualities of the WPB district.

Eligible improvements under the Facade Rebate Program may include:

  • Removal of Security Gates or Fences Corner Storefronts
  • Façade Renovation
  • Historic Preservation
  • Historic Signs and Restorations
  • Awning Installation
  • Exterior Lighting
  • Windows and Doors (Storefronts)
  • Power Washing of Exterior Facade
  • Sandblasting
  • Signage (Removal and Installation of New)
  • Billboard Removal

    • Owners and tenants (with owner’s written consent) of street level commercial or retail property, located within WPB’s boundaries, may apply for a rebate of up to 50% of the facade improvement costs, not to exceed $5,000.
