Winter Sidewalk Snow Removal

WPB has contracted with two snow removal companies, Olsen and Cleanslate, to provide supplemental snow removal in the winter months for all properties located in the WPB Special Service Area.

When the snow season is upon us, the City of Chicago municipal code requires all business and residents to clear their sidewalks of snow and ice.  WPB has hired outside vendors to assist with this.  When there is 1” or more of accumulation, our contracted crews will be out plowing snow on the sidewalks and spreading ice prevention materials.  Please note that this DOES NOT replace your own personal responsibility for snow removal per City code.  This service is a supplemental service, intended to provide a walking path through the neighborhood to facilitate circulation.  For more information, visit the City’s  website.
